Health for All – Health for Refugee Children Seminar and Care Package Night

GlobalHOME and Sydney University Paediatric Society co-hosted the Health for Refugee Children Seminar and Care Package event. We heard from Consultant Pediatrician Professor David Isaacs about refugee health issues and the role of advocacy. We made 38 packages of toys, winter clothes, books and other goodies for children in Sydney Immigration Residential Housing, Villawood. The catering was generously sponsored by the Italian Bowl Newtown. Thanks to all who came and made it a huge success.
