Hey all! I'm Tess and I'm your secretary for 2019. I love the ocean and my passion for sexual and maternal health, medical inequity and excel spreadsheets is just as vast🌊 2019 is shaping up to be a good one and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish together!
Hi everyone! My name is Jane and I’m the treasurer for GlobalHome. I was drawn towards this role because I am fiercely passionate about global health and also proficient in Excel (name a more iconic duo, I’ll wait). I am so proud to be apart of the GlobalHome community and I believe we have the opportunity to bring about some truly phenomenal change in 2019 - it will be a year to remember!
G’day GlobalHomies! My name is Puneet and I am the Vice Chair and AMSA Global Health Rep. for 2019. You know what’s cute? A puppy (yep, got one last week). You know what isn’t cute? Millions of people dying of treatable, preventable diseases because of poor access to basic healthcare. My passion for advocating and working towards reducing global health inequities stems from my first hand observations of the disease burden and inadequate healthcare access in developing countries such as India and Vietnam juxtaposed against the high level specialist care centres in developed nations such as USA, Singapore and even back home here in Australia. Really looking forward to seeing y’all at our fundraising events and academic seminars this year!
Hello GlobalHOMIES! 🌎 Emily here 💃🏼 I am super excited to be the GlobalHOME Chair for 2019! I grew up in Tasmania 🌻🌿⛄️ and moved towards the sunshine of Sydney in 2018 🌞🌊 I absolutely love to explore this beautiful planet 🌍 and discovering different cultures 🎎🕌🏔 (28 countries and counting ✈️) - combine that with my passion for access to essential health care 💉👩🏽‍⚕️ globalHOME gives me the opportunity to educate and raise much needed funds for charities such as RED WEEK 💃🏼🌹🧣 (HIV/AIDS) and Birthing Kits Australia 🤱🏼! Bring on 2019! 🙌🏼
